Current Critical Industry Trends

Brent crude prices rose after Saudi Arabia suspended oil loadings at Yanbu following damage to its East-West pipeline, disrupting a key route for moving Saudi crude to the Red Sea.

Ocean

Gemini Cooperation partners will resume four ocean services through the Suez Canal, returning more Asia-Europe traffic to the shorter Red Sea route.

Ports

The Port of Long Beach had its busiest August on record, moving nearly 920,000 TEUs as shippers continue adapting to tariffs and geopolitical uncertainty.
